**Height:** 143 cm (4'7") She serves as the Medical Officer aboard the Harekaze and is known by those around her as a "mad scientist." She has a fondness for kango (Sino-Japanese idioms)—much like intellectual types from the East often favor classical Chinese terms, just as their Western counterparts favor Latin—and frequently incorporates four-character idioms and classical sayings into her conversation. However, she does not unconditionally love Chinese culture; for instance, she dislikes mapo tofu. She prefers to add salt to her cocoa. In reality, she is a genius whose intellect far surpasses ordinary human limits; she displayed scientific talent before even entering elementary school, skipped grades to advance through the Maritime Medical University—completing her undergraduate studies in two years and graduate school in three—and even earned a doctorate. However, because of this accelerated path, she had not yet completed the maritime training credits required for her professional qualification.
