Tsukishima is very blunt and will sometimes rile his teammates up due to his antagonistic nature (most notably being [Hinata](https://anilist.co/character/64769/Hinata-Shouyou), [Kageyama](https://anilist.co/character/64771/Kageyama-Tobio), [Nishinoya](https://anilist.co/character/67327/Nishinoya-Yuu), and [Tanaka](https://anilist.co/character/67325/Tanaka-Ryuunosuke)) and sometimes other teams because of his casual smug attitude, taking pride in and relishing when his opponents see him as a nuisance as seen with [Tendou](https://anilist.co/character/126073/Tendou-Satori) and [Shirabu](https://anilist.co/character/137537/Shirabu-Kenjirou). Tsukishima is standoffish and has an arrogant and condescending personality, but he has low self-esteem and thinks of himself as inferior. Although he is only outwardly close with [Yamaguchi](https://anilist.co/character/71609/Yamaguchi-Tadashi), he can be seen occasionally caring about his other club members.
