A member of S.T.A.R.S.(Special Tactics And Rescue Service) assigned to Alpha Team under Captain Albert Wesker. During the mansion incident, they discovered that the pharmaceutical company called Umbrella Corporation created a mutagenic virus known as the T-Virus, along with other experiments. Jill, along with Chris, Barry, Rebecca and Brad survived the mansion incident and upon returning to Raccoon City their story was met with skepticism prompting the other three S.T.A.R.S members to head off on their own investigations, while Jill and Brad remained in Raccoon City to investigate an underground research facility of Umbrella. On September 28, 1998, the city became infected by the T-Virus. The Umbrella corporation deployed the Nemesis-T Type to hunt down the remaining S.T.A.R.S members. Jill survives the ordeal, along with a U.B.C.S operative named Carlos Oliviera, when the US Government decided to eradicate the city using an experimental thermobaric missile. After the fall of Umbrella, she, along with Chris Redfield and Barry Burton, went on to found the BSAA (Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance). She joins Chris Redfield in a number of missions namely in pursuit of II Veltro
